Qualifications

• One year of experience in an Activities Department or related environment preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is highly desirable.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and engaging environment for residents.
• Document resident participation in activities.
• Promote the well-being of residents through meaningful activities.
• Assist in planning and organizing recreational programs.
• Build positive relationships with residents.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident care.
• Observe and report changes in residents' behavior.
• Assist with community outreach events.
• Complete administrative tasks including audits and reports.
• Help set up and break down activities and events.
• Escort and transport residents to activities.
