Job summary

Allendale Senior Living is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our team in a full-time role. Daily pay is available, with hourly wages ranging from $15.92 to $22.

The position supports enriching resident participation through engaging programs and compassionate daily care. Responsibilities include planning activities, documenting participation, and collaborating with the care team to enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in an Activities Department, healthcare setting, skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, assisted living community, or related environment preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging, and positive environment for residents.
• Document resident participation and engagement in activities.
• Plan, develop, organize, and implement recreational and community programs.
• Assist with planning and setup of events and outings.
• Support resident care goals with the interdisciplinary team.
• Escort and transport residents to activities as needed.
• Complete administrative tasks and maintain program records.
