Job summary

PCORI is seeking a Program Associate 2 in the Science of Engagement to help implement the research agenda and support the Public and Patient Engagement team. You will manage projects, support funding processes, and coordinate program activities with PCORI staff and external stakeholders.

Required Master’s degree with several years of experience in health research settings; strong communication, analytic, and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 3–5 years in project coordination or Bachelor’s with 5–7 years experience in health research settings.
• Experience with health-related research processes and funding applications preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit, academic, or government health sectors.
• Three to five years of related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as research administrator for the science portfolio, including project management, tracking, and correspondence with study teams.
• Assist leadership with administrative tasks, scheduling, and coordinating meetings.
• Prepare documentation on funded projects and maintain progress reports.
• Conduct literature reviews and synthesize evidence to inform program priorities.
• Support cross-department collaboration and coordination with Contracts, Finance, and Communications.
