Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking an Associate Engagement Manager to lead and optimize the One Xcel Energy Way Operating System within a defined business area. You will coach teams through analysis, design, and implementation of technical and process solutions.

You will drive process improvements, report status to leadership, and manage projects financially from budgeting to savings implications, partnering across shared services and frontline teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 5+ years in related business experience.
• Change management or program/project management experience.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate to varied audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others.
• Ability to adapt to change within a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and maintenance of the Management Requirements and 4 Plays: Visualization, Performance Reviews, Problem-Solving, and Standardization.
• Coach teams through analyzing, defining, and implementing solutions.
• Communicate status of improvements and build collaborative relationships from frontline to senior leadership.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to deliver substantial business-area gains.
• Support process metrics and use of tools like rally rooms and improvement projects.
• Provide financial management of projects including budgeting, forecasting, actuals tracking, and savings implications.
