Xcel Energy Inc. in Minneapolis seeks an Engagement Manager to lead the One Xcel Energy Way Operating System deployment within assigned business areas and support functions. You will coach teams to analyze, define, and implement technical and process solutions.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage budgets and forecasts, and partner with leadership to deliver measurable value across programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, IT or related field.
• At least 8 years related business/industry experience.
• Experience facilitating or consulting on improvement and transformation initiatives.
• Change management or program/project management experience.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization including executive leadership.
• Ability to analyze ambiguous/complex business scenarios.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others.
• Adapt to change quickly in a diverse, cross-functional team.
• Knowledge of core business processes/industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and maintenance of management requirements and 4 plays: visualization, performance reviews, problem-solving, standardization.
• Coach teams and act as a liaison between business area leadership and shared services.
• Communicate status and build collaborative relationships to maximize project efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using PDCA/A3 methods.
• Support process metrics and use of rally rooms and improvement projects.
• Provide financial management including budgeting, forecasting, actuals tracking, and savings implications.
