Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Marketing Manager for Engagement on the Faculty Marketing team. You will develop customer engagement strategies to drive product adoption, success, and retention across Gale, Visible Body, Spark (ELL), and other learning solutions.

You will ship onboarding education, coordinate launch communications, and own Gale's monthly newsletter and social media. Strong collaboration and analytics are essential for sustained program improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years experience in customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, product marketing, or engagement marketing.
• Experience developing customer communications across email, web, social media, and digital channels.
• Strong project management and organizational skills; able to run multiple initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; translate complex product info into customer messaging.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with marketing automation, CRM platforms, and customer engagement analytics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement marketing for customer outreach within Specialized Learning Solutions (Gale, Visible Body, Spark/ELL).
• Coordinate product launches, migrations, and onboarding communications across lifecycle.
• Own Gale monthly customer newsletter and social media strategy.
• Ensure consistent customer messaging across website, Help docs, and digital resources.
