Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Marketing Manager for Engagement on the Faculty Marketing team to develop customer engagement strategies across a portfolio of learning solutions including Gale, Visible Body, and Spark. You will drive product adoption and retention through lifecycle marketing and multichannel communications.

You will own content creation, newsletters, and social media for Gale, coordinate with product managers, and ensure messaging is consistent across the global site and Help docs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years experience in customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, product marketing, or engagement marketing.
• Experience developing customer communications across email, web, social media, and digital channels.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to run multiple initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to translate complex product information into customer messaging.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with marketing automation, CRM platforms and analytics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement marketing for Specialized Learning Solutions, including Gale, Visible Body, Spark (ELL), and other initiatives.
• Lead messaging for transitions of Visible Body and Spark to MindTap and update core marketing functionality.
• Coordinate with Product Managers and the Engagement Team to ensure onboarding, education, and usage communications across the product lifecycle.
• Coordinate communication plans for product launches, migrations, and other customer-impacting initiatives outside the core portfolio.
• Own the Gale monthly customer newsletter, including editorial planning, content development, and optimization.
• Responsible for Gale social media strategy and execution for supported products.
• Ensure customer messaging is reflected across the global website and Help documentation; support migration to a new global site.
• Maintain a regular cadence of customer communications highlighting updates, best practices, success stories, and new capabilities.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate new features into customer messaging across channels.
• Measure and optimize engagement performance using campaign metrics to improve lifecycle programs.
