About the Role

The Global Medical Business Consulting team supports Medical Affairs and Medical Information teams to establish medical excellence capabilities that improve HCP engagement and patient outcomes. We leverage technology, data, and services to identify growth opportunities and optimize medical impact throughout the product lifecycle.

We are seeking a Senior Engagement Manager to advise on end-to-end content operations for Medical Affairs, focusing on HCP omnichannel engagement and impact measurement. This role involves managing client accounts, leading projects, and contributing to strategic initiatives in medical content and organizational change.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage 1-2 large/complex client engagements, overseeing approximately $1M in revenue annually, and maintain senior relationships.
  2. Lead a team of consultants to deliver high-quality projects, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  3. Optimize medical content operations, including content creation, approval, and dissemination.
  4. Develop new offerings to enhance content operations efficiency.
  5. Support clients in defining value propositions and adopting Veeva tools.
  6. Contribute to strategic planning and KPI development for content supply chain improvements.
  7. Lead communication and change management initiatives for Veeva Medical rollouts.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams to support business development and client engagement.
  9. Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities.
  10. Participate in broader Medical Business Consulting activities, including field medical activation and KOL strategies.
Minimum Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree required.
  2. 8+ years in management consulting or as a senior lead at a medical communications agency, or 5+ years in a Life Sciences Medical Organization.
  3. At least 5 years’ experience with medical content processes within medical affairs or medical information teams.
  4. Proven track record in leading client advisory engagements.
  5. Strong consulting skills, including workshop facilitation, project management, and team oversight.
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  7. Willingness to travel approximately 20-40%.
  8. Experience with content management systems, preferably Veeva Vault.

Compensation
  • Base salary range: $85,000 - $170,000, commensurate with experience.

Work Location and Environment

Based within North America, close to an airport for travel. Our offices are hubs for collaboration, and we support remote work with predictable core hours. Our regional hubs include Pleasanton, Columbus, Boston, Kansas City, New York City, Raleigh, and Toronto.
