Job summary

Standish Management, LLC seeks an Engagement Manager to lead client engagements and supervise fund accounting, capitalization maintenance, and financial statement preparation. The role reports to the Engagement Director and coordinates with the Fund Controller and Associate.

You will maintain frequent client contact, manage expectations, and contribute to business development while mentoring junior staff. A background in VC/PE fund administration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related field.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent.
• 2+ years of VC/PE fund experience or fund administrator experience.
• CPA is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all client engagements with the Engagement Director.
• Supervise the Fund Controller and Associate in fund accounting and financial statements.
• Maintain frequent client contact and manage expectations.
• Mentor and train junior staff members.
• Assist with sourcing new clients and proposals.
