Job summary

Standish Management, LLC seeks an Engagement Manager to lead client engagements, supported by the Engagement Director, in fund accounting and financial statement preparation.

You will supervise the Fund Controller and Associate, ensuring high-quality service to private equity funds across Buyout, Venture, Real Estate, and Fund-of-Funds. The role involves client liaison, team mentoring, and business development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics.
• At least 2 years of public accounting experience.
• VC/PE fund experience or fund administrator experience, or 1 year as manager at a public accounting firm.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain frequent client contact to stay apprised of fund activities.
• Manage client expectations and engagement efficiency.
• Supervise audit and tax preparation processes.
• Review client and investor communications.
• Assist in sourcing new clients and proposals.
