Job summary

TEKsystems Global Services is seeking an Engagement Manager II to lead delivery across multiple engagements, maintaining client satisfaction and ensuring timely, within-budget outcomes. The role emphasizes strategic relationship management, financial oversight, and cross-functional team leadership.

The position requires strong project management experience, effective communication, and a track record of successful client engagements. Travel to client sites may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in project management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (English).
• Analysis and problem solving skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• People management skills.
• Experience in project management fundamentals or as an acting Scrum Master.
• Exposure to professional services agreements including the change management process.
• Exposure to IT Managed Services, project management classes, and other IT certifications.
• Demonstrated project risk analysis and mitigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engagements varying delivery models, to ensure objectives are achieved, delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Builds rapport and maintains relationships with client stakeholders to understand long-term goals.
• Regularly informs stakeholders about progress, challenges, and results of engagement activities.
• Manage the financial aspects of engagements, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.
• Ensure efficient resource utilization across engagements and optimize team performance.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed performance reports and present to senior management and clients.
• Lead large engagement teams, mentor resources, and foster collaboration.
• Focus on client satisfaction and retention by delivering high-quality services.
