Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking an Engagement Director for our Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS). The role focuses on high-level interim and project-based accounting resources across industries, designing and improving monthly close processes, financial reporting, forecasting, and consolidations.

You will actively lead engagements, manage client relationships, and may travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Ten years of related work experience including public accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field is required.
• Mastery in Microsoft Excel and experience with various accounting software.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.
• Prior project management and strong client service management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a high-level interim or project-based accounting resource for clients in various industries on accounting, finance, tax, and audit roles.
• Design/improve accounting processes such as monthly close, reporting, forecasting, consolidations, and system implementations.
• Take an active and hands-on approach in executing client engagements.
• Travel as needed to engage with clients.
