Job summary

CLA is seeking Accounting Consultant(s) (Engagement Director(s)) for Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS). You will serve as a high-level interim or project-based accounting resource for clients in various industries across accounting, finance, tax, and audit roles.

Design and improve processes such as monthly close, financial reporting, forecasting, and consolidations, while taking a hands-on approach to engagements.

Qualifications

• 8 years relevant work experience including public accounting (10+ years preferred).
• Prior industry experience as a CFO, Controller, SEC Reporting or Internal Audit Manager equivalent preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required (combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted).
• Mastery in Microsoft Excel and experience with a variety of accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level interim or project-based accounting support for clients across industries (interim controller, financial reporting manager, internal audit manager, etc.).
• Design and improve accounting processes such as monthly close, reporting, forecasting, consolidations, and system implementations.
• Take an active, hands-on approach in executing client engagements.
