CliftonLarsonAllen LLP in California is seeking an Engagement Director for our Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS). This role delivers high-level interim or project-based accounting support to clients across industries, focusing on accounting, finance, tax, and audit work.

You will design and improve monthly close processes, financial reporting, forecasting, and system implementations, and actively manage engagements while enjoying flexible travel opportunities and life balance with

Qualifications

• 8 years relevant work experience including public accounting; 10+ years preferred.
• Prior industry experience as CFO, Controller, SEC Reporting, or Internal Audit Manager preferred.
• Degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field required; combination acceptable.
• Mastery of Excel and various accounting software; CPA preferred but not required.
• Prior project management and exceptional client service management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a high-level interim or project-based accounting resource for clients in various industries on accounting, finance, tax, and audit roles.
• Design/improve monthly close, management and financial reporting, forecasting, consolidations, and system implementations.
• Take an active and hands-on approach in executing client engagements.
• Travel opportunities; choose engagements to balance career and life.
