Mercer University is seeking an Engaged Learning Office Assistant to support the Center for Engaged Learning. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, maintaining files, sorting mail, posting flyers, and assisting with event setup and breakdown.
The role requires federal work-study eligibility and current Mercer student status. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong customer service, organizational, and time-management skills, along with proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Office assistants provide administrative and event support, including, but not limited to, greeting office visitors, maintaining office files and supply inventories, sorting mail, posting flyers, and assisting with event setup and breakdown.
Requirements: Must have federal work-study and be enrolled as a current Mercer University student in good academic standing. Ideal candidates should possess excellent customer service, organizational, and time management skills and should have working knowledge of general office equipment and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. This job requires the occasional lifting of office supplies/equipment up to 20 lbs.
Pay rate: $14 per hour Scheduled Hours: 10 Start Date: 08/17/2026 End Date: 05/14/2027
