Qualifications

• Certification: SRT4-Certification in Special Education General Curriculum P-12 OR
• GACE Special Education General Curriculum plus ethics assessment
• Bachelor's Degree with at least a 2.5 GPA

Responsibilities

• Instructs students with learning disabilities, mild intellectual disability, or emotional behavioral disorder.
• Prepare and grade tests to evaluate progress.
• Plan and conduct activities to provide observation and inquiry opportunities.
• Monitor student performance and behavior; maintain progress records.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to revise curricula.
• Coordinate in-person conferences with parents/guardians.
• Attend faculty meetings and training to improve professional competence.
