Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with appropriate elementary endorsement
• Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum and developmentally appropriate practices
• Ability to develop engaging lessons that promote academic achievement and social-emotional development
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in planning, instruction, and assessment
• Proficiency in integrating instructional technology into the classroom
• Ability to collaborate with families and school leadership to support student success

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans for fourth-grade students.
• Create an inclusive, structured classroom environment that promotes engagement and respect.
• Differentiate instruction to address diverse learning needs.
• Assess student learning using various methods and track progress.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and concerns.
• Participate in IEP/504 and student support meetings as required.
