Vail School District in Tucson, AZ seeks an Early Childhood Assistant to support the Early Childhood Specialist and Childcare Lead. You will help children engage in activities that promote social, physical and intellectual growth under supervision of the Site Director.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to meet DHS requirements, and a commitment to a safe, nurturing environment. Regular attendance at staff meetings and professional development is expected.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least one month of related experience or training.
• Ability to obtain Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Must submit a negative Mantoux skin test or physician's statement of TB status.

Responsabilidades

• Care for students in the assigned classroom.
• Assist with enrichment activities based on written activity/lesson plans.
• Supervise children, maintain attendance roster and ratios.
• Provide a clean and organized environment where children are safe, nurtured and valued.
• Attend required staff meetings and complete 24 hours of professional development annually.
