Job summary

The role involves supporting a lead educator, scheduling staff to meet ratios, maintaining records, and ensuring a safe, positive learning environment in accordance with Arizona DHS standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of preschool learning and enrichment methods and government regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Google apps.
• Able to operate standard office and computer equipment.
• Strong communication with children and adults.
• Experience with lesson planning.
• Ability to solve practical problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor with classroom management and scheduling to meet teacher to student ratios.
• Assist with lesson planning and learning activities.
• Assist with ordering and receiving materials and supplies.
• Maintain records and DHS compliance documentation.
• Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and DHS as required.
• Post payments and reconcile bank deposits.
