Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Technician in Houston, TX, to support warehouse and equipment operations enabling field service activities.

Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, packing, and recording shipments, maintaining trailers and vehicles, and coordinating repairs. The role emphasizes maintaining test equipment calibration, adhering to policies, and ensuring readiness of tools and assets for reliable power system service operations.

Qualifications

• Work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Associates degree with 2 years’ experience or High School diploma with 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing/service warehouse environment.
• 2 years’ experience with an Associate degree, or 5 years’ experience with a High School diploma.
• Previous warehousing and/or shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift effectively.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with SAP is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect goods and verify items against shipment records.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment based on specifications and transportation requirements.
• Record received and shipped items.
• Maintain oil processing trailers, including maintenance and repairs.
• Manage vehicle maintenance, registration, and insurance activities.
• Maintain calibration of test equipment and coordinate repairs for equipment and dry air machines.
• Support day-to-day operational activities and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain company equipment in an organized 5S manner.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
