Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science, Environmental Sustainability, or related field.
• Basic understanding of building systems, construction processes, and energy efficiency concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to follow established procedures and complete tasks accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for team interaction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office software.
• Willingness to learn new tools and concepts with guidance.
• Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from supervisors.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Travel up to 5% within the region.

Responsibilities

• Support verification activities for energy efficiency projects through data collection and analysis.
• Review construction documents and perform quantity take-offs for lighting, controls, HVAC, and building envelope.
• Perform data entry, validation, and basic analysis to support verification efforts.
• Prepare reports summarizing project data and energy savings calculations.
• Conduct site inspections and field data collection under supervision.
• Coordinate multiple projects at various stages of verification.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks and deliverables on time.
• Research building technologies and energy efficiency measures as assigned.
• Follow QA/QC processes and escalate discrepancies when needed.
• Maintain organized project documentation per standards.
• Communicate progress and findings to supervisors and team members.
• Work under direct supervision with clearly defined tasks and priorities.
• Identify potential process improvements and share suggestions.
