Job summary

Burns & McDonnell, in partnership with 1898 & Co., seeks a Project Delivery Manager in Florida to lead a consulting team in Energy Advisory or Power System Planning, delivering high‑quality projects and developing talent. You will align with managing directors, oversee staffing and assignments, ensure QA/QC, and drive cross‑office collaboration to deliver integrated client solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 5 years of related leadership experience required.
• Previous leadership and/or management experience is preferable.
• Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to present complex information to all levels of staff, management, and clients.
• Must possess strong project management skills and a strategic perspective.
• Must be expert in the use of computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the team; direct and coordinate work assignments and review performance to ensure efficient utilization of staff.
• Recruit, develop, train, and retain high-performing staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance to direct reports.
• Promote Burns & McDonnell culture and values; align with 1898 & Co. traits.
• Coordinate workload and staffing needs with business line leads and managing directors.
• Lead and support project QA/QC efforts.
• Ensure compliance with company and safety policies.
