Celanese in Hopewell, Virginia seeks a Utility Operator to manage site utility services including steam, water, dowtherm, and air systems. The role requires rotating 8-hour shifts, willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays, and readiness to cover overtime for vacancies and shutdowns.

Safety and documentation are essential. The operator will monitor and test Biological and Sanitary Plants, maintain logs, and support the Emergency Response Team as needed.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Experience with boilers, chillers, compressors, cooling systems, and water treatment is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and operate control systems.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and SAP is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and monitor energy and utility systems (steam, water, dowtherm, air) on rotating shifts.
• Maintain logs, readings, and test results for plant systems.
• Support Emergency Response Team as needed.
• Cover overtime for vacancies, vacations, and shutdowns.
