Job summary

Jobot seeks an Energy Commercial Transactions Associate / Counsel in Seattle, WA, to support energy, infrastructure, and emerging tech matters. You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements related to development, procurement, operations, and strategic initiatives, with exposure to acquisitions, financings, and complex transactions.

The ideal candidate has a J.D. from an accredited law school and at least 3 years of transactional experience, with an active U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant transactional experience.
• Active law license and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements across development, procurement, operations, and supply initiatives.
• Support acquisitions, divestitures, financings, and other complex development transactions.
• Advise clients on industry-specific commercial and regulatory considerations.
• Assist with contract strategy, risk allocation, due diligence, and deal execution.
• Manage client relationships and provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
