Job summary

Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to join the Marketing and Business Development team, supporting the firm’s Energy Transactional practice group. The role focuses on planning, producing high-quality materials, and enabling growth strategies with attorneys and BD colleagues.

You will conduct market research, craft tailored proposal materials, assist with awards submissions, and help distribute client alerts and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of four years in marketing and business development.
• Experience in a legal or professional services environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing strategies to cultivate business with clients.
• Conduct research to inform business development efforts.
• Create tailored pitch materials and responses to RFPs.
• Support legal directory and award submissions and league tables.
• Develop and distribute client alerts, newsletters, blogs, and thought leadership pieces.
• Coordinate events, webinars, and speaking engagements including logistics and budgeting.
• Promote the practice group’s successes through media and publications.
