Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Training and Development Advisor II in Houston, TX on a 1-year contract to lead competency development for technical teams. The role focuses on designing outcome-based training, managing LMS plans, and coordinating both internal and external resources to deliver high-impact programs.

Ideal candidates will have 4–7 years of leadership/training development experience, expertise with Articulate 360 Suite, and strong communication skills. Onsite role with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of leadership and/or training development experience with technical workforces.
• Proficient with Articulate 360 Suite (Storyline and Rise).
• Strong MS Office skills; excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation, review, update, and approval of competencies mapped across specific technical client groups.
• Design, plan, and execute outcome-based learning plans spanning coursework, web-based training, self-study, simulations, and on‑the‑job training.
• Build and manage learning plans in the LMS with automated reporting for leadership oversight.
• Source and manage internal and external resources to design and refine training content.
• Drive competency assurance initiatives, gap analyses, and individual development plans.
• Support Management of Change processes by leading training needs assessments.
• Maintain audit-compliant training records per corporate policies.
• Promote a strong learning culture and deliver annual training plans.
