Job summary

You will build dashboards and automated tools in Python/SQL to strengthen decision‑making across the desk. The role requires a PhD or master’s in a quantitative field and at least 5 years of relevant energy trading experience, with strong Python and SQL skills and familiarity with data visualization tools.

Qualifications

• PhD or master’s degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Proven experience in power trading, energy markets, or market risk analysis.
• Strong programming in Python and SQL with data automation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth quantitative analyses of power trading portfolios and risks.
• Present analyses to traders and senior management with clear, decision-ready insights.
• Lead monthly performance committee discussions and action follow-through.
• Challenge pricing assumptions and hedging strategies to drive data-backed decisions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical tools to improve reporting accuracy.
