Job summary

ACES National Service Center in Carmel, IN seeks an Hourly Trader to manage generation and load requirements for participating members and clients. You will schedule generation, manage energy transactions, and participate in 24-hour trading floor operations.

The role requires understanding market structures, data analysis, strong Excel skills, and the ability to travel as needed. Bachelor’s or equivalent trading experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s with power trading experience.
• Experience in price negotiation, data analysis and customer service preferred.
• Proficient in computers, especially Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Work rotating shifts to provide 24-hour coverage of the business.
• Understand ISO/RTO market structure and operating practices.
• Fill native load requirements for participating members.
• Manage market for generation or contract resources for members/clients.
• Monitor market conditions and analyze transactions to identify energy trades.
• Input data accurately into ACES software systems.
