Job summary

Southern California Edison in Rosemead, CA is seeking an Energy Trading Scheduling Senior Specialist to manage the scheduling of renewable and conventional generation within CAISO markets, including EDAM. You will work rotating 12-hour shifts and coordinate energy and transmission purchases.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in wholesale energy markets, resource outages or plant operations.
• CAISO scheduling experience and ability to follow tariffs and procedures.
• Proficient in Excel and data interpretation for optimization.

Responsibilities

• Communicate dispatch instructions and ensure they are followed.
• Submit bids and schedules into ISO systems and maintain compliance.
• Analyze data to advise on optimal asset scheduling and balancing.
• Prepare high-level presentations for executive management.
• Maintain timely notifications and scheduling per policies and tariffs.
