Weaver is seeking a Tax Senior Associate with Energy experience to join our growing team. You will provide federal tax compliance and planning services for Weaver’s Energy clients and work with colleagues across tax and advisory services.

The role emphasizes teamwork, initiative, and mentorship, with opportunities to guide junior staff and collaborate on complex tax strategies. This is a full-time, on-site position in Dallas, TX, with competitive benefits and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA or CPA candidate.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience, industry experience, or a combination of both.
• Technical expertise in tax planning and execution for Energy clients.
• Experience preparing federal tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Provide federal tax compliance and planning services to Weaver’s Energy clients.
• Demonstrate initiative, communicate effectively, and manage multiple assignments.
• Mentor and develop less experienced staff where applicable.
