Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA INC. is seeking an Energy Systems Integration Engineer based in Houston, TX (or Santa Clara, CA) to design and manage Linux-based EMMS environments.

You will automate deployments with Ansible, tune performance, and troubleshoot across the stack while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires 5+ years of Linux automation, proficiency in Ansible, Python and shell scripting, and experience with Oracle databases in enterprise settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Linux system administration and automation experience.
• Proficiency with Ansible, Python, and shell scripting.
• Experience with Oracle databases and enterprise software environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain large-scale Linux-based EMMS environments.
• Automate system configuration and deployment using Ansible and scripting tools.
• Tune OS and database performance for reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the software stack.
• Support system testing including Factory and Site Acceptance Tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Improve system processes and automation while ensuring compliance.
