Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an Energy Systems Integration Engineer based in Santa Clara, CA or Houston, TX to shape the digital backbone of tomorrow's energy markets. You will design and maintain Linux-based EMMS environments, automate deployments with Ansible, and tune OS and databases for reliability.

You should have 5+ years of Linux administration experience, strong scripting skills, and experience with Oracle databases within enterprise software environments; collaboration and problem-solving

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Linux system administration and automation experience.
• Proficiency with Ansible, Python, and shell scripting.
• Experience with Oracle databases and enterprise software environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain large-scale Linux-based EMMS environments.
• Automate system configuration and deployment using Ansible and scripting tools.
• Optimize system performance and reliability through OS and database tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the software stack.
• Support system testing including Factory and Site Acceptance Tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of system processes and automation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
