Job summary

Walla Walla Community College is accepting applications to fill the part-time role of Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 2 for the Energy Systems Technology program on the Walla Walla Campus. As part of the team, you will support lab safety, assist students in the lab, maintain training equipment, and participate in developing additional educational trainers to meet future needs.

Work is performed primarily in a classroom and lab environment, with pro-rated vacation and sick leave

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered by the college.
• High School Diploma and completion of first year EST classes.
• Knowledge of electrical theory, circuits, and safety in electrical labs.

Responsibilities

• Lab Assistant: assist students and ensure safe lab operations and equipment use.
• Lab Preventative Maintenance: inspect and maintain lab training equipment for operability and safety.
• Lab Development: assemble/move trainers and support upgrades to ensure enough operable trainers.
• Lab Prep: prepare lab environments, maintain housekeeping and consumables.
