Job summary

Mason & Hanger, A Day & Zimmermann Company, invites you to join the Energy and Sustainability Summer Intern program for Summer 2026. You will assist in energy and water simulations, LEED credit work, and cost estimation under engineer supervision.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering, with strong Excel skills and a team-oriented, proactive mindset.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or related field.
Great attitude and team player.
U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
Successful completion of background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Energy, water, and power simulation under supervision of engineers.
Engineering calculations using Microsoft Excel.
Complete LEED credit compliance templates.
Assist in cost estimate preparation and general research.
Comply with data protection principles while handling information for Day & Zimmermann.
