Job summary

Redwood Materials seeks an Electrical Engineering Associate, Energy Storage to support the next-generation BESS program. On-site at 2800 Lockheed Way, Carson City, you will assist engineers in PCB design, build and test prototypes, and help manage an electronics lab.

You will perform hand-soldering, run bring-up tests, and assist with field testing and equipment setup, contributing to robust hardware development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in electronics or related field or equivalent hands-on training.
• Ability to read schematics and datasheets and translate sketches to PCB layouts.
• Experience with PCB prototypes, soldering, and lab safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a library of electronics symbols and footprints for PCB designs.
• Hand-soldering and rework of PCB components and connectors.
• Run functional tests on new board revisions and verify power rails.
• Manage and maintain the electronics lab and test equipment.
• Set up electrical test setups for field testing of projects.
