Fervo Energy is hiring a Development Manager, Energy Solutions to lead the commercial and technical integration of flexible energy delivery options. You will bridge concept through financeable agreements, working with Legal, Finance, and Origination to align terms and technical requirements.

The role requires 7+ years in power development or related commercial roles, with strong knowledge of interconnection processes and financial modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in power project development or related commercial roles.
• Experience structuring or negotiating commercial agreements for power delivery.
• Knowledge of behind-the-meter and on-site generation and interconnection processes.
• Ability to translate technical and financial information into senior leadership recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Own the path from concept to financeable, executable energy delivery agreements.
• Structure and negotiate commercial terms for flexible and on-site power arrangements.
• Coordinate with Transmission & Interconnection on technical feasibility and interconnection pathways.
• Partner with subsurface, drilling, and engineering teams to align resource plans with microgrid design.
• Translate resource characteristics into commercial and financing assumptions for deals.
• Prepare materials communicating deal status and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Develop relationships with utilities, IPPs, and equipment providers relevant to flexible generation.
