Job summary

Fervo Energy is hiring a Development Manager, Energy Solutions to drive commercial and technical integration of flexible, on-site, and behind-the-meter energy delivery projects. You will own deals from concept through executable agreements, coordinating with Legal, Finance, and Transmission teams to align commercial terms with technical requirements.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, business, or related field.
• Experience in power project development, structured/project finance, or commercial roles.
• Experience negotiating commercial agreements for power delivery (PPAs, interconnection, EPC/O&M).
• Knowledge of behind-the-meter and on-site generation and interconnection processes.
• Ability to translate complex finance/technical data into clear exec summaries.

Responsibilities

• Own path from concept to financeable, executable agreement for energy solutions.
• Structure and negotiate commercial terms for flexible and on-site power.
• Coordinate with Transmission & Interconnection on technical feasibility and requirements.
• Collaborate with subsurface, drilling, and engineering teams to align resources and microgrid design.
• Translate resource data into commercial and financing assumptions for deals.
• Serve as the link between resource, microgrid, and on-site power as a single system.
• Create lender-ready narratives with Finance and Capital Markets; track risks.
• Develop materials communicating deal status and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Build relationships with utilities, IPPs, and equipment providers relevant to flexible generation.
