Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with 3+ years as lead/architect.
• Experience architecting, building, shipping, and scaling distributed JVM-based systems.
• Ability to drive architecture and roadmaps across multiple engineers/teams.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems trade-offs, latency, throughput and failures.
• Commitment to engineering excellence and evaluating new technologies.
• Influence across teams and communicate with senior leadership and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable, secure services with resilience for partner integrations.
• Provide strategic technical direction for the Energy Services platform.
• Collaborate with platform teams to align shared systems and interfaces.
• Champion engineering best practices across Energy services.
• Lead technical discussions, write specs, mentor peers, review code/designs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and external energy partners on objectives and integrations.
