Job summary

Apple is seeking a senior software architect to shape and evolve the Energy Services platform. You will design, build, and scale services and APIs that support millions of users across distributed systems, working with server and client teams.

You will lead architectural decisions, explore new technologies, and drive cross-functional roadmaps while collaborating with internal and external partners. A strong background in JVM-based systems and DevOps practices is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, incl. 3+ years as tech lead/architect.
• Extensive experience architecting, building, shipping, and scaling distributed JVM systems.
• Ability to drive architecture decisions and cross-functional roadmaps.
• Strong communication with senior leadership and external partners.
• BS degree or equivalent work experience.
