Job summary

Prairieland FS, Inc. is hiring an Energy Service Technician to install, service, and maintain energy systems, including propane tanks and fuel equipment, for residential, agricultural, and commercial customers.

This role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, diagnostics, and delivering exceptional customer service while working outdoors in various weather conditions and coordinating with team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma preferred.
• Must obtain CDL with HazMat and Tanker within six months.
• Must obtain relevant energy-industry certifications within six months.
• Residence within assigned geography.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain energy systems incl. propane tanks and equipment.
• Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs for reliability.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulations for a safe workplace.
• Perform routine safety checks on energy systems and equipment.
• Assist with delivering energy products to customer locations.
• Monitor inventory and delivery schedules to meet demand.
• Interact with customers, advising on safe energy use.
• Build relationships by delivering tailored solutions.
• Operate gauges, meters, and testing devices; maintain vehicles.
