Job summary

ICF is seeking a detail-oriented summer intern to support Energy Programs, Analytics, and Security. You’ll contribute to research, data analysis, and program operations within a collaborative team. The internship runs for 10 weeks, beginning in early June 2027, with a hybrid schedule from Arlington or Reston, VA.

Undergraduate interns will gain exposure to high-profile energy initiatives and work with experienced professionals across diverse clients. U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 30 college credits completed in engineering, energy, environmental science or related fields.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Work Authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Support research on energy programs, markets, technologies, and infrastructure.
• Collect and analyze data to assist program implementation and evaluation.
• Assist with reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
• Contribute to communications, outreach, and training materials.
• Help coordinate project activities and documentation.
