Job summary

ICF is seeking a Research & Analysis Intern to support market research, data analysis and visualization across energy utility programs. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, developing dashboards, and contributing to client delivery.

The 10-week, full-time internship begins in early June 2027 and offers hybrid work from Reston, VA or New York, NY. Undergraduate interns earn $23/hour; graduate interns $28/hour.

Qualifications

• Active pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
• US citizen, reside in the US, authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with domain leads and teams across disciplines to support tasks and ad-hoc needs.
• Support research and analysis on utility programs, DERs, VPPs, electrification, and related areas.
• Develop dashboards, presentations, and visualizations for business strategy and client delivery.
• Support product development and commercialization initiatives for energy solutions.
• Assist with business development, proposals, and strategic planning.
• Synthesize complex information into concise summaries and recommendations.
