Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking an Energy Rating Specialist to join its Building Performance Consulting team in Massachusetts. You will work with design and construction teams from planning through construction, performing energy modeling and field inspections to support New Construction services.

You will review blueprints, create energy models with EKOTROPE, collect site data, and conduct diagnostic tests using blower door and duct blaster equipment, while preparing documents for code compliance and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Building Science - Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related field).
• Field experience may substitute for degree for right candidate.
• Residential construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review construction blueprints and plans.
• Create energy models using EKOTROPE software.
• Collect site data and perform diagnostic testing, including blower door and duct blaster equipment.
• Collect and produce documentation related to progress, status, and outcome of each project.
• Prepare and submit required documents to verify code compliance, certification, and rebate eligibility.
• Communicate technical concepts to contractors to support energy efficiency and green specifications.
• Support projects from initial energy modeling to final construction, helping teams meet goals.
