Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in a technical field or related certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably within energy, construction, or manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME, AWS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections and quality checks on incoming materials, in-progress work, and completed projects.
• Conduct dimensional checks, material verification, and other quality control tests according to project requirements and industry standards.
• Document inspection results, identify non-conformances, and communicate findings to project management and stakeholders.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality control plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with construction teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Review project specifications, blueprints, and quality control documents to ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of all quality control activities.
• Participate in root cause analysis for quality deficiencies and recommend preventative measures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
