Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a QC Manager to oversee quality control across projects, develop and maintain robust QMS, and ensure adherence to industry standards and client requirements. You will lead QC inspectors and technologists, drive inspections, documentation, and continual improvement while coordinating with clients and inspectors.

The role requires extensive experience in construction/industrial QC, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of codes (ASME/ASTM/AWS/API).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of progressive quality control/quality assurance experience in construction, infrastructure, or heavy industrial sectors.
• 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role supervising QC personnel.
• Strong understanding of relevant industry codes and specs (ASTM, AWS, ASME, API, AISC).
• ASQ CQM, AWS CWI, NACE or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Control Plan for all projects.
• Lead and manage a team of QC inspectors and technicians with training and evaluations.
• Conduct inspections and audits of work, materials, and processes for conformance.
• Oversee calibration and maintenance of QC equipment.
• Review and approve ITPs, material submittals, and welding procedures.
• Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare QC reports and NCRs for management and clients.
• Coordinate with clients, third‑party inspectors, and regulators.
• Participate in project planning to embed quality from the start.
• Promote culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations during QC activities.
