Primoris Energy Services in Hubbard, TX is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure material and workmanship quality on energy infrastructure projects. You will inspect incoming materials, in-progress work, and completed projects, document results, and support QC plans.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED plus 1–3 years in QA/QC, ability to read drawings, familiarity with API/ASME codes, and proficiency with measurement tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of quality control or QA experience in energy, construction, or manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings and interpret specs.
• Familiarity with API, ASME, AWS codes is a plus; strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in measurement tools and basic computer skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections and quality checks on materials, in-progress work, and finished projects.
• Conduct dimensional checks and material verification per project requirements.
• Document inspection results, identify non-conformances, and communicate findings.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality control plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with teams to address issues and implement corrective actions.
• Review specs and drawings to ensure compliance and maintain records.
• Participate in root cause analysis and support preventative measures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
