Job summary

Amazon is seeking a results-driven leader to join the AWS AMER West Energy Team in Seattle, WA. This role oversees large-scale power infrastructure projects with utilities and energy companies, coordinating with engineering, real estate, and planning teams to deliver reliable, low-cost energy for AWS data centers.

You will manage interfaces with utilities, EPC vendors, and Owners Engineers, drive schedules and contracts, and ensure energy requirements align with AWS global expansion goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple Utilities, EPC and Owner's Engineers to deliver a portfolio of inflight medium voltage and high voltage power infrastructure projects.
• Manage capital budgets for electrical infrastructure and energy projects.
• Collaborate with the internal teams and regulated utilities on the implementation and management of energy and projects in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Identify and develop innovative cost savings projects and initiatives related to energy infrastructure and supply.
• Work with utility regulators to develop policies and guidelines that enable broader AWS strategies and objectives.
