Job summary

DNV Energy Systems is seeking a Site Visit Inspector to support construction monitoring, field observations, and reporting for renewables projects. You will document progress, quality observations, safety findings, and potential schedule impacts across diverse energy systems.

The role requires independent field work, travel up to 70% domestically, and collaboration with civil, electrical, environmental, and HSE teams to deliver timely reports and insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant field experience in renewables or construction energy sites.
• Experience on active construction or operating energy sites with safety focus.
• Ability to travel up to 70% domestically (US/Canada) and occasional international travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits for wind, solar, storage, and thermal projects; document progress.
• Observe workmanship, QA/QC, non-conformances, safety observations, and schedule impacts.
• Coordinate with engineers, owners, and contractors; prepare concise site visit reports.
