Cupertino Electric, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Project Manager focused on energy construction. This on-site role supports the Project Manager and collaborates with field teams, vendors, and customers to manage schedules, costs, and project docs.

Qualifications include 5+ years in related electrical construction, a strong grasp of scheduling tools, and the ability to travel as needed. The company offers a competitive package and an annual performance bonus plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of related experience; 3+ years as Project Engineer in electrical construction or MEP.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work in the United States.
• Experience supervising others; renewables/Data Center experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel and scheduling tools (MS Project/Primavera).

Responsibilities

• Lead team meetings and guide Project Engineers and Coordinators with PM and field team.
• Coordinate data with Scheduling to populate CEI schedule.
• Identify cost impacts for RFIs, submittals, and design changes; notify promptly.
• Prepare and price change orders for PM review and approval.
• Manage closeout documents and records for projects.
• Coordinate commissioning with 3rd party and track open items.
• Maintain strong vendor/subcontractor partnerships and coordinate material releases.
