Job summary

Energy Land & Infrastructure, LLC in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Project Engineer to lead large-scale energy design projects and coordinate multiple complex assignments. You will work with the Project Manager and Senior Engineer, develop project plans, supervise design tasks like piping, site layouts, and permitting, and ensure quality control while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with federal, state, and local permitting.
  • PE (Preferred but not required).
  • 3+ years of energy, facility/industrial process piping, or oil/gas pipeline related experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience with AutoCAD.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and project scheduling software.
  • Experience with Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises project execution including gas/oil pipelines, station construction, and P&ID development.
  • Prepares proposals, schedules, and cost estimates for energy projects.
  • Executes and reviews project designs per Sr. Engineers' instructions.
  • Assigns tasks and provides technical oversight to team members.
  • Reviews design drawings for accuracy and quality control.
  • Supports proposals, marketing, and client management activities.
  • Initiates permitting with federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Prepares bid documents with technical specs and contractual terms.
  • Manages project tasks and timelines.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
